Lying leg raises

 

Movement:

You can hold on to the mat or keep your arms flat…lift your head slightly to push your lower back into the mat as well as to increase tension on your abdominal muscles. Raise your legs, with a slight bend at the knee,  without your lower back lifting off the floor.  Lower them again without your lower back arching as you come down. Inhale as you raise the legs, exhale as they come down.
